Privacy Policy

Free Adawat ("we") runs free tools at freeadawat.com. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the site. The short version: your files stay on your device.

1. Files and text you use in the tools

Every tool runs inside your browser. Photos, PDFs, text and numbers you enter are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. Closing the tab removes them from memory.

2. Data stored on your device

To remember your choices we use your browser's local storage on your own device. This is not sent to us. It holds: your language, light or dark theme, favourite and recently used tools, your 👍/👎 answer on a tool, the place you chose for prayer times, and whether you hid the share button today. A service worker also caches site files so pages load faster and some tools work offline. You can clear all of this at any time in your browser settings.

3. Cookies and analytics today

At the moment we set no cookies, use no analytics and load no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. The share buttons are plain links; nothing is sent to a social network unless you tap one.

4. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP address, browser type and the requested page to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this data to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

5. Advertising (may be shown in the future)

To keep the tools free, we may show advertising in the future, for example through Google AdSense. If and when ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
• Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), we will ask for your consent through a certified consent message before any advertising cookies are used.
• Ads will never have access to your files or the content you process in the tools, because that content never leaves your device.

We will update this page before any ads go live.

6. Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. We do not sell addresses or add them to mailing lists.

7. Children

The site is a general audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights and changes

Because we hold no personal data from the tools, there is normally nothing for us to access or delete. For any privacy question, write to feedback [at] freeadawat [dot] com. If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top.
